Oh, the joys of video game addiction. Before I left town I had just gotten SSX3, which is a great game, but unfortunately once you unlock all the courses it gets a little repetitive. Irma’s brother borrowed the PS2 while we were gone, and while it’s been returned, I’ve only played SSX3 once, when one of Irma’s cousins came over. Instead, I’ve been playing games on my shiny new Radeon 9600. So far I’ve beaten two short but sweet shooter titles, Max Payne 2 Rat Race video The Horsemen divx The Karate Dog dvdrip and Call of Duty
download House of Flying Daggers dvd . They’re both really good, but pretty short, compared to the game I’m being sucked into now.
When BioWare, creator of some of the best RPGs of the past 5 years, announced they were making a Star Wars RPG, everybody was excited. It came out on the XBox earlier this year (I didn’t pick it up), but now it’s out for the PC, and oh, is it wonderful. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Deterrence full movie
is looking like a great game. Every time you save your progress it tells you how much time you’ve spent so far (not counting re-loading saves and doing stuff over), and my time is going up and up and up. I think I may have spent as much time on KotOR so far as it took to beat Max Payne 2 or Call of Duty, and I just got off the first world. All the dialog in KotOR is spoken, so it takes quite a while just to listen to people talk. You can skip over it, which I’ve done quite a bit, but it loses some of it’s cinematic flair.
Oh well, enough of the gaming talk, I guess I should get back to the ‘real’ work at hand. No rest for the weary!
